In the latest Evony news; it seems their full-frontal advertising campaign has been the most successful ever on the Google adsense network.

While evony free forever is a medieval game, their use of current day sexy models and attractive women has had young men going wild for the adverts.

Picture it, the computer game playing typical nerd - he sees boobies and dives at it, its only natural.

Games + Boobs, you'll get 3/4 of the internet right there.

The best lazy holiday could quite possibly be in Phuket, Thailand. The most beautiful place on earth, great beaches, lovely local people who are extremely friendly and all on top of a cost effective price range.

Phuket deals are growing daily, with large international carriers and flights the norm. Big hotel chains and cheap food are another part of the good mix.

Wii Fit must be connected to a Wii console for it to work and must make you fitter than you were before since 'Fit' is in its name. Makes sense, doesn't it.

Released in May 2008 to mostly positive reviews, today this beauty is the biggest selling console anywhere. Nintendo's latest innovation for the gaming console gets the gamer off the couch and, who knows, could make this the end of the plump, lazy gamer.

Wii fit is a game using the incredible Balance Board, designed for this game, which concentrates on helping players keep fit. It tracks your balance, and after completing a move it shows you in dramatic fash

On a daily basis, the time spent exercising is deposited into the system's bank, and as credits are deposited, new activities and difficulties are unlocked, rewarding the user for continuing to use the Wii Fit.

Someone told me recently that his doctor is recommending Wii Fit to him as it's much less boring than exercise! Wow, this phenomenon really is going places. By the way, before anyone says you can do all these things without this console, there is remember, the added benefit of having the game track your weight and progress, help your form and timing with each exercise, and pair the strength exercises with yoga exercises in ways that make sense. The programmes are actually in some form of order for your ease of use and for your encouragement to continue.

The Wii Fit is just so much fun and all the time you're excercising that body without really much effort. If you've got one - great, if you're thinking of getting one you will certainly not be disappointed.

1) NOTES ABOUT DOS COMPATIBILITY

Colonization is a DOS based game. For this release we have included DOSBox, a DOS emulator to maximize compatibility. DOSBox is an open source project and is not supported by 2K Games or Take-Two Interactive. For issues related to DOSBox please contact the DOSBox team, or use the support pages at http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/.

This installation includes DOSBox 0.72. This is an unmodified installation, and the source code can be downloaded on the DOSBox site (URL above, or in the "Web links" folder on your start menu).

2) PERFORMANCE ISSUES

When you install Colonization using the included installer, it will create three shortcut files in your start menu: one for full screen, one for windowed and one for 3X windowed mode. Colonization is a very old game, and running it in full screen mode may cause visual artifacts or glitches depending on your computer's resolution (this is particularly likely on LCD monitors). For the best overall compatibility, run it in windowed mode. If this is too small for your taste, the 3X windowed mode shortcut is a safe compromise. You can also hit ALT+Enter while in-game to switch between windowed and full-screen modes.

Note that when playing in Windowed mode, DOSBox will lock the mouse to its window. To get external control of the mouse back, you can either ALT+TAB to a different window, or hit CTRL+F10.

If you notice performance issues (such as the game running too fast or too slow) you can throttle the emulated speed by hitting CTRL+F12 to speed it up, or CTRL+F11 to slow it down.

Note that because we have included a full DOSBox installation, you can also modify the settings however you like. To do that, edit the dosbox.conf file in the DOSBox folder of your installation directory. For information on the various options, visit the DOSBox web site. Also visit VOGONS (http://vogons.zetafleet.com/) for discussion on getting older games to run on modern systems.

Two Issues for everyone

First Up - The Anywhere/Anytime Machine

The team has switched on the system that allows people who just

South Sydney lose NRL Round 2

The NRL Results just get worse for Souths. After losing Craig Wing and the game in Round 1 of 2008 NRL, they looked lost last night in attack and their Rugby League style is causing no problem to opposing defence lines. Before confidence problems set in, Souths need to adjust their footy or risk slipping too far back as the season gets will into gear.

Cronulla Sharks savour NRL Results

The Cronulla Sharks are the surprise packed of the NRL 2008 season as they snuck away with a gutsty and grinding win over the Manly Sea Eagles to record their first positive NRL Results for the year.

Facing a spiteful start to the football match, big pop Ben Ross was knocked out by Josh Perry and the Sea Eagles looked to take control. The Sharks dug in and they soon found themselves staring at a victory with only minutes to go.

The Sharks have a horror road trip to Melbourne now and face the might of the Storm in week 2 and many watch with interest as the NRL heats up for season 2008.

As we head into winter in Australia, the NRL Rugby League season is underway with the fanfare of the football codes 100 year aniversary well underway. Did your team get the right NRL Results on the weekend? After the completion of Round 1 we have already seen some good action, plenty of injuries and some nasty fighting that sees several of the derby's get this season underway with a thump.

The Roosters got over the Bunnies, Eels came home hard against the Dogs and Broncos blew Penrith away in the end - all making for champagne Rugby League and another exciting year of NRL.

The Melbourne Storm also got off to a winning start, with their side winning a home game against the tough NZ Warriors team at the Telstra dome last night - firming them in the betting odds to remain on target to keep their NRL title.

Young kids of high-risk ethnic groups, survivors of prematurity and children with too much cows' milk intake or extended breast-feeding (breast milk is very low in iron) should have a full blood examination and iron studies, including measurement of ferritin levels.
Any seriously delayed child should be tested for iron status. Also, kids with breath holding may be iron deficient, and breath holding may improve substantially following iron supplementation.¹¹
Iron-lacking kids should get a lot of supplementation of elemental iron at a dose of 6 mg/kg per day for about two to three months, when the iron studies should be repeated. Commercial iron preparations are relatively unpalatable, and it is often difficult to enforce prolonged therapy. Iron absorption is enhanced if supplements are administered with a vitamin C source, such as orange juice. Parents should be warned that bowel motions are often black and that this does not denote ill-health. Dietary advice about iron-rich foods should also be offered.

What to achieve success in 2008? Thanks to Joel Comm, here are my major pointers on how to achieve success.

So here's the plan on how to achieve success:

1) I will clearly define what I want my Internet business to look
like in one year and set specific attainable goals to make it
happen. (You can't get where you are going without a roadmap, so
chart it out)

2) I will follow those who have succeeded, emulate their successes
and learn from their mistakes. (We all need mentors. Be sure you
are following people who have honestly and ethically found success)

3) I will stay focused and not get distracted by all the "bright
shiny objects" (Just because an ebook, course or software product
is great, doesn't mean it is going to help in your specific
business. Be discerning!)

4) I will use the product I have purchased before buying anything
else. (Do you have unread ebooks? Read 'em! Unused software?
Use it! Unwatched DVDs? Put them in the DVD player!)

5) I will prioritize networking relationships with others in my
industry, as it is people and not websites that make my business
successful. (This is the secret to my success...)

6) I will make every effort to attend at least one Internet
marketing live event in 2008. (And this is where I discovered the
secret to my success!)

7) I will wisely invest time and money in my business. (If you
aren't willing to make sacrifice, you probably aren't going to
achieve your goals)

8) I will THINK BIG! (The opportunity is seemingly endless. Don't
be satisfied with small successes... go for it!)

9) I will not give up! (Nothing happens without action. Never stop

Looking forward to setting goals in 2008, personally setting goals each day and trying to keep motivated as much as possible.

On top of financial goals for 2008, I look forward to keeping fit and really workout to the max where possible! I am not sure if its best to keep this to working out alone, to surprise people with the changes or get a mate to workout with you to keep you on the straight and narrow?

I look forward to hitting the gym soon. hard.

Health is related to overall success, so starting with the fitness from the gym I also want to get every other area in order, including my teeth which are not in great shape. Years of no dentist visits have left a few gaps in my pearly whites - so corrects are needed, it will be costly but well worth it in the end because they say that the teeth are the key to overall health and well being. so they must always be in great shape.

Personal Dreams and Desires

I have been wanting to start a dreams and desires blog for a while now. So I just converted one of my old 'scrap book' blogs and here I am.

When I have a thought, idea or goal I am going to just blurt it out here. Its mostly just for my own assistance, but hey if you're reading it - you found it. It's content surrounded by AdSense; you get the picture.

Goal 1: To Earn $6000 per month from the internet alone. This can be paid posts, blogging, flipping domains, my existing websites etc. Anyway I can - the goal is to earn $6k from the internet. (More on how soon)

Goal 2: I will get into shape physically. This has been in the back of my mind, I am not heavily overweight or massively in danger of heart attack or anything. Its a matter of toning up a bit, I eat a bit of crap and limited exercising doesnt burn it all.

Thats it for now.

More soon on some ideas I have had bouncing around my head this past few days.

Stop Being Lazy

If you're a lazy person and want to stop, well it basically comes down to habit. Having trouble getting up in the morning? Yes, a tricky one - especially in winter with that lovely electric blanket keeping your bed warm, well once again break the habit. Throw yourself out of bed, set 2 or 3 alarms and set them at a distance where you need to get up to turn them off. (Always handy)

The next step is to start getting some exercise. Doing some exercise gets the mind going and helps keep you motivated.

Go for a walk, take a pet to keep you company. Heck, even get on your mobile or cell phone while you walk to talk your mind off the boring task at hand.

Finally speak to family and friends and ask them to motivate and remind you of your goals. This is a much better way of attacking laziness before its too late!

Dirty Dishes and Pure Filthy Environments

Laziness can affect a lot of things - one of the major things being unclean, unhealthy and down right dirty environments.

Our story today is about two brothers who live alone, and from sheer laziness have left their house and living environment get seriously infested with disease, dirtiness, disease and not to mention rats and other live pests.

The two brothers, one 18 and one 20 years old - live alone and after leaving their parents Ben and Chris Loo - 'The Loo Brothers' didn't know much about cleaning and house upkeep - let alone cooking and general living.

After several weeks alone, bed sheets weren't washed, pillow cases went black and the kitchen became a source of absolute filth and disease. Each night, servings of KFC, McDonalds, Chinese Takeout, Red Rooster and Burger King - would sit and rot away on the bench. Dirty plates, cups and other items would smell and become attacked by cockroaches and rats.

As the rats took hold in the kitchen, the dirty clothes and store closests became 'rat caves' and the smell was seriously shocking.

Friends began to stop visiting the house and the situation got worse.

Laziness. Pure and simple.

The costs to bring the house back under control by pest companies and probably cleaning companies would run into several thousands of dollars.

Do the Loo Boys care? I'm not sure - but if they continue to not care - disease will kill them both for sure. (Story from Sydney, NSW)

Lazy Kids. Everyone in today's society.

Video Games - atari, nintendo, playstation, xbox - the list goes on.

These video games and the computer have taken a generation of kids away from outdoor activities and other sport related events and kept them locked in rooms feasting on snacks of KFC, McDonalds, Aporto and Fish and Chips.

1 in 3 Kids are now lazy and fat.

Parents are too soft are are letting the kids continue this habitual laziness.

Its a sad time and action needs to be taken before more kids die young and society in general are all at risk of lazy, fat and sad deaths.

What actually is Laziness?

The famous French book author Mr Jules Renard had once wrote down, "Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired." A Comic strip Blondie once had Dagwood Bumstead offer this bit of totally humorous wisdom regarding laziness, “You can't teach people to be lazy - either they have it, or they don't.”

Laziness is the tendency to do nothing in the face of opportunity.

Laziness is also the failure of a person to properly manage their time and resources. Because we all have different skills and abilities, the quantity and quality of our work can never be a true indicator of dedication.

One person may be highly skilled at a task, yet lack the motivation to be productive. Someone else may have limited skills, yet choose to overcome shortcomings by putting forth more effort.

Because no action is required in the sin of laziness, it is one of the easiest of the seven deadly sins to commit. Unlike with pride, envy, anger, greed, gluttony and lust, sloth is performed through a passive response.

As wireless grows world wide, so is the evidence of Wireless Hotspots. Wireless hotspots are locations, generally in tourist or business areas- where computer users, generally with wi-fi cell phones or full blown laptops / notebook PCs can use their inbuilt wireless card or wireless dongle to receive internet access for a fee.

For example, companies such as McDonalds restaurants are providing wireless internet access through large telco's such as Telstra - and charge a $5 an hour fee for the service.

This type of setup is ideal for tourists or business people, who are regularly away from home and have their wireless setup with them.

As cell phones become more advanced the reliance on wireless hotspots will become even more demanding.

Wireless Standards 802.11g, 802.11b, 802.11n

Wireless networking standards are changing very quickly- originally we had the 802.11b standard, giving wireless users a standard 11mbs throughput (theoretical) - with walls and obstacles, a speed of around 6 - 7 mb could be expected.

Eventually the IEEE ratified the 802.11g standard, where 54mbs ideally was available. This standard hit many homes through in expensive routers from Netgear, Linksys, Billion, D-Link, Netcomm and many more.

Outlets such as Officeworks, Harvey Norman, Wallmart and more - were retailing 'wireless kits' where Wireless 802.11g 54mbs routers came with USB dongles or PCI wireless cards for consumers.

Now we are seeing an even faster IEEE standard break free - the 802.11n - yes I know, a lot of 802.11 stuff right? Well this new standard gives wireless speeds of 108 mbs, a doubling of the former standard.

As we see Wireless become mainstream, security remains a massive issue. Just last week, as I wrote - i cruised / war drove around my block in Sydney, Australia. A sleepy residential area - 60 mins drive from the Sydney CBD. To my surprise I found in the order of 14 wireless networks in my street alone. (50 houses in my street) and of those 2 were unlocked.

Security leaks will become more and more evident, as green consumers - with limited understanding buy up the wireless standards in bulk. War drivers and wireless hackers will be having a field day and more and more wireless hacking software will be available.

No Internet? Steal wireless - outdoor!

My internet went down again last week and the lazy man I am, of course I needed internet access. I wasn't motivated enough to war drive to my usual spot and use my mini van to pick up net and compute from the back.

So I donned my coat jacket, picked up the trusty laptop PC and a slouch chair - and setup camp outside my house in range with my neighbours unprotected wireless LAN - a netgear setup, with poor transmission and only an ADSL1 512k speed ADSL link. Very slow sadly.

But anyway, very funny - as in the freezing cold I was computing my little butt off and got the job done. Awwwwwsum!

If you have a fixed LAN that you wish to access externally, here is a trick you can use simply to gain access.

Simply purchase a low cost Wireless AP, get inside the building with the wired LAN you wish to gain access to externally - and install the Wireless AP covertly and safely, connect the local LAN to the AP - and you will comfortably able to access the LAN externally using your wireless dongle.

Somewhere like your work place or similar place of interest is easy to gain access to and install that wireless AP.

Wireless Computing on Toilet

Ok, this is one my favourites.

Get a laptop, or take my IBM thinkpad, throw in your wiress Belkin dongle or similar (USB style) and instead of reading the old newspaper on the toilet take your laptop or notepad computer into the loo or rest room or lavatory - whatever you call it!

And make the most of your time while you take a dump! Especially at those times where you are constipated - it really helps to have some light reading on the internet. Heck, I am even doing this post from my downstairs loo - boom, its lazy, it's handy and very much keeps you from boredom on those long loo stints.

If only I had a camera to take a snapshot and prove the limits I am taking mobile computing to. As my wireless war driving artcile suggested last night - i might have to photo document my mobile computing escapades. Or maybe even video them and throw it up on you tube. War Driving - Free Wireless for a Lazy Man

What does a lazy man do when his home Telstra phoneline has a fault and gets disconnected? Well because ADSL2+ and ADSL are run over local phone line pairs - it means the faulty landline caused no internet.

In Australia there is one physical phone network, provided by majority government owned Telstra, or Telecom as it used to be called.

This beast of a telco doesn't give a rats bottom about service or support and obviously they can charge a stack because they have no competition. Luckily the government has allowed other parties to put their own DSLAMS in the exchanges here - otherwise we would die from Telstra overload.

Anywayz, I picked up my IBM Thinkpad, and my USB Belkin wireless dongle - and began walking around the local area to pickup wireless networks. I live in the outer suburbs of Sydney (Macarthur / Campbelltown Area) and was unsure how many wireless networks I would detect. I was surprised to detect something like 10 networks in my small street alone. Of these networks I had 1 that was unprotected, very interesting.

I went back and got into my Mitsubishi Starwagon Van, drove some more - and found quite a few networks, 2 more unlocked as well. I stopped the van, got into the back seats and logged on to one of the wireless networks. I got connected at 24mbs and got super smooth and fast internet for a good 2 hours until my battery ran out. I was amazed, and will soon be doing some more wardriving and bringing along a friend of mine who recently bought a Nokia N95 from Allphones. This baby will allow us to get even more mobile and really pin point the best spots for the wireless networks.

Lazy people stay tuned, I will look to post more info on my war driving and wireless network investigations very soon. Software reviews and tools will be included.

Lazy Fans unite. Today I want to talk about Wireless Headphones. I just got a pair from Aldi in Australia for the sum of $50 AUD and the wireless unit is simply brilliant. Made by Aldi's Chinese manufacturing brand 'Tevion' the Wirless stereo headphones come with charging dock, batteries, 3.5mm stereo plug and 3.5mm stereo plug to RCA sockets also. Soft ear cushions and decent 50m transmit range the 2.4ghz transmitters work flawlessly and can transmit of 3 channels. Auto selecting channels are easy and simply load the wireless headphones back onto the dock after using. I use the Wireless headphones at home, in combination with my plasma screen, sony combo amp and dvd unit and get beautiful sound reproduction as I watch my sport each week. Wife and Baby are happy due to the no noise level - and I am stoked at the comfort and easy at which I can listen with the wireless headset unit. Folks, lazy items like this are a must have - get your butt down to Aldi or a similar electronics store, somewhere like Jaycar by Electus Distribution in Australia or Strathfield Car Radios or Dick Smith or Tandy - they all stock similar units. However I would recommend the Aldi unit for price, comfort and extras. Top stuff!

Lazy Kid Carter

Todays story is about a 14 year old boy from Sydney, Australia. Andrew Carter, who is also known by the names 'Stronghold' and 'Dante' - is a lazy computer loving nerd who is eating himself to death through sheer laziness.

It's sad but true, but kid Carter dines on a serving of at least 2 or 3 of the following each day - KFC (His Favourite), Fish and Chips and Pie/Cake stacks.

Weighing a scary 200 kilos, 14 years old and less than 5 foot 6 tall - its a receipe for disaster. Carter lives in a local computer gaming shop and spends time 'on-line' while ordering food and having younger friends walk and fetch the food for him.

We want to raise money to send the kid to 'Fat Camp' - a new series starting on Channel 10 in Sydney, Australia.

Today we spoke to lazy advocate Dunsten Yoke - a person who has dedicated his life to 'lazy' devices. Dunsten employs 3 full time servants at his European household - a cleaner, a cook and an at call assistant (who basically spends every minute beside the lazy man and performs any task asked)

- Fetching drinks
- Changing channels
- Massaging

This guy really takes being lazy to the extreme. He uses the cleaner, not just to clean the house - but clean his teeth nightly, wipe his bottom, towel him dry and change his clothes. Crazy but true!

Dunsten works full time from home and runs his own website. His website: http://ozportal.blogspot.com - is a general 'information' site and Dunsten makes his income from Google Adsense revenue and specially positioned advertisements that bring him in money.

It's obviously working, as Dunsten is able to live a lazy life of luxury. Similar income is achieved by online guru's such as web marketer and money man - Joel Comm who runs the website: http://www.joelcomm.com - another goofy obese guy who lives and loves a lazy lifestyle (achieved through his company infomedia inc.)

For those of you that are a little chubby or porky - getting around a large shopping centre can provde very tiring and of course boring. Did you know; that many shopping centres provide Lazy or Fat Folk with motorized carts to get you around? These carts used to be for handicapped or injured people, but not the lazy and fat folk amongst us get to share in the spoils. Next time you go to your local shopping centre, be sure and ask centre management or the information desk about your special 'Lazy or Fat Folk Mobile'. If they refuse and come up with a reason such as "This cart is for handicapped people only" - just put on a show, cry discrimintation, you as a FAT or LAZY person have every right to access motorised transport machines.

3. If your home is specifically designed so YOU dont have to move
4. If your on the doll
5. If you have over 10 gigs of porno on your computer (2 lazy to get real action)
6. If you get your little sister or brother to do your errands
7. If you over pay someone to do what you want
8. If you are constantly late because you "need" a car to get there
9. If your dog is fat because you dont walk it
10. And lastly you know your lazy if you simply couldnt be fucked doing anything
