Jarrod Mullen the NRL machine

He's young, got all the skills and looks to be working over time to get the Knights into top gear. Jarrod Mullen - the halfback having to replace Andrew Johns in the big show of NRL for the Newcastle side looks to be the great white hope for the Knights in NRL 2008.

Their Rugby League side crumbled in 2007 and were left hanging, almost taking the wooden spoon as drama hit them at every turn. The pressure is on not only Mullen, but head coach Brian Smith to bring the side out of the cellar and up to the top half of the competition.

Mullens work ethic puts them in good stead as he works hard to give them every edge before a ball is kicked in 2008.
